Ms Emling's Classroom

     I am Peggy Emling, and I have taught in Edwardsville since 1999, and for most of that time, I have taught 7th and 8th grade social studies. I have bachelor’s degrees in journalism and history from the University of Missouri-Columbia and Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville, respectively. I also have a master’s degree in educational administration from SIU-E.

     I also am:

• program leader for the Washington DC trip,

• Student Media adviser,

• a Cub Scout den leader,

• a sometimes runner,

• and a ridiculous history geek.

 

     I live with my husband and two sons (Wyatt "Earp", 13, and Teddy "Roosevelt", 10) in Glen Carbon.
